West with Wilson, #6, 2006
We had a great day with all the grandchildren and their parents yesterday. Well most of the grandkids were here and most of George’s nephews. Some were out of town. But we had 8 little kids here, ages 8 to 15, and most of them have red hair. So, we saw lots of running, swimming, hide and go seek, and just a lot of activity. I joined them in some of their running games, but not swimming. You know how I do not like the water even when it is warm and Lake Washington’s water is cold!.
Then I watched the young people play holdem poker. And they played for money. Lots of bluffing and sometime they had great hands. We should take the winner to LV cause he was that good.
We ate fried chicken and baked beans and of course I got some of that off the grass to eat. Nice kids to share with me.
Today George went to church while I stayed and watched the house. It is nice here, warm in the 80’s but clear and not raining. Cool at night and we are having fun. Sharry’s dog Jazzie and I have had a problem with food, but usually we get along just fine.
It is nice here in Seattle and we are getting rested after our long,15 hour, drive on Friday.
