West with Wilson, #7, Portland

Well ,Sharry and George are in Portland attending their cousin’s 50th wedding anniversary and where am I? In a kennel in Renton WA that where. While they are having a great time eating and enjoying Portland I am in this place with lot of other dogs. It is fine as far as kennels go but I would rather be in Portland.

George’s brother Bob and his wife Joan are also in Portland for the big reunion. Lots of relatives are there from all over the nation. They have been sight seeing and eating out at very nice places. George says it is warm in Portland, 90 degrees today and sunny. He says it is a very nice place, in fact a very pretty place with lots of water and rivers running through it.

George and Sharry took Amtrak from Seattle to Portland and enjoyed the 3 hour trip. Most of it was along the sound. Yesterday they took a bus with lots of their new friend and relatives to the Bonneville Dam. Then they went to a Multnomah Falls, the second highest falls in the nation.

Last night was the big dress up party for the happy couple on their 50th. It was on the 30th floor of a big bank building in downtown Portland.

They took a walking tour of the downtown this morning and now they are off on a bus tour. So they are enjoying the sights and sounds of Portland. I wish I was there cause they have lots of parks where dogs are welcome and I like that.
