When you get the Democratic leadership in the Texas House to endorse a candidate you have done something and that is what happened to Barack Obama in his race for the Whitehouse. Not only that but State Reps Garnet Coleman and Sylvester Turner are together in endorsing Obama. The Gossip is impressed. Here are the names as of today: State Rep. Rafael Anchia ,State Rep. Barbara Mallory ,State Rep. Norma Chavez ,State Rep. Garnet Coleman ,State Rep. Jim Dunnam ,State Rep. Eddie Lucio III ,State Rep. Pete Gallego ,State Rep. Juan Garcia ,State Rep. Ana Hernandez ,State Rep. Trey Martinez-Fischer State Rep. Borris Miles ,State Rep. Dora Olivo ,State Rep. Mark Strama ,State Rep. Senfronia Thompson ,State Rep. Sylvester Turner and State Rep. Mike Villarreal. And note two Anglo leaders of the Texas House, Mark Strama and Jim Dunnam with the Hispanic leader Pete Gallego. Obama is moving forward in Texas.

And along that line when the Houston Chronicle endorses you that is a very interesting development. They did endorse Senator Obama yesterday. The Chron is not your liberal newspaper and has a long history on endorsing the establishment’s candidate so their strong endorsement of Obama should be noted.

Now the Gossips are wondering just when John Edwards will endorse Obama, Would it be right before the Texas and Ohio primaries? Don’t bet against it.
