The Gossips are wondering if former President Bill Clinton has heard that Obama won Texas and now has the most delegates from the Lone Star State. The Caucus results on Sat. show that Senator Obama picked up sufficient delegates to pass those that Hillary Clinton won back on March 4th in the primary. Didn’t Bill say that if Hillary lost Texas she would drop out of the race?
And let’s laugh over the race in Pasadena where Ken Legler used Fred Robert’s social security number in a political mailing. That must be like the guy who on radio tells you his SSN and says if you sign up for his service and have your identity stolen he will pay you 1 million dollars. In fact it sounds to the Gossips like that is the service Roberts signed up for after Legler sent out his SSN to everyone. But to do that is a no-no in the political business, makes you wonder what fly by night political consultant Legler is using.
And don’t you love the race in the GOP run-off in CD 22? It is the outsider against the conservative local girl, (who use to be more like a liberal Republican). Pete Olson sounds like he has the big guns behind him including a majority of the Texas Republican delegation to Congress who served with Mrs. Gibbs. To have served with her is to know her and therefore they are pulling for Olson. The Gossips would be winning to bet that you would get the same result from the Houston Council members who served with her.
The Gossip is getting tired of the presidential race all ready and the Democrats have not even decided on who their nominee is. Meanwhile Al Gore is back in the headlines. Hum… could he unite that party by just saying he would accept the nomination? The Gossips doubt that even he could do that. He did look like he put on some pounds during his 60 minute interview. Tipper looked great.
